Weird Is Always Evolving

I'm weird, but soon I hope to be normal. Social norms are constantly changing and what is weird today or unusual may be modest later. Imagine where society is going. It is all the weird people that need to stand up and assert their rights. Be yourself, hope for change and enjoy your world. If you are not harming yourself or another, then do what you enjoy.

My weirdness includes, smelling flowers, talking to people I don't know, trying to be kind and helpful to others...I guess my weirdness is about enjoying life and speaking my mind. I wish there was more weirdness like that out there.

I feel you :-), really do!
This societyworld hurts so much when you open your eyes, all the hate, we got more chances by brain as a human, but we use them in the wrong way. It's the main reason I joined EP, glad that I don't carry it alone, it feels good to know, I'm not the only one trying to create some change.

Quite funny actually, people never dare to tell me that, or to admit it if I say so ^^, one of my friends called me without knowing while they were talking about me, "she's reared, she's very strange, but I like her, she's great.", it was all I needed to hear ;-), we are still laughing about it ^^.

The world can weigh very heavy but never forget with every kind gesture you make makes somebody smile :-)

good for you, dont listen to negative people. life is short etc.......

That's not weird at all, what's the saying "stop and smell the roses." As for the other stuff, that's what's know as kindness. You sound like a very nice person to me, enjoy your uniqueness.

i think you have a great outlook. wish every one was like that.

It is the people that have been considered to be weird by the ppl around them who has taken evolution on step further since probably the beginning of civilization. If it where those who was considered to be normal where those ppl who always thought outside of the box...imagine the competition!

Very good point. If there was no weird, life would be stagnant. We would be doing the same things over and over again with no progress. Thinking outside the box is supposedly valued in business but there are still limits as to how far outside one is permitted to go. Without weird people, we would not be the thriving society we are today. For good and bad, weird is beautiful.

Hey im weird too and loving. Every is weird somehow in their own way but everyone isnt normal. Its impossible to be normal.

We are all weird and it's beautiful. Please keep being weird and let people see the real you. It's a beautiful you. :)

If you are weird, then weird is wonderful. It may seem weird to you compared to others, but just go on being yourself.

Thank you. :) I hope that you are wonderfully weird too! :)

I wear my "weirdness" kind of like a badge, something not to be discouraged or ignored, but embraced and cherished by those who know me, it's part of who I am.

So very glad to hear that! :)

WHAT IS 'WEIRD',ALL WEIRD IS,IS DIFFERING FROM SOCIETY'S NORM.US WEIRD PEOPLE ARE THOSE OF US AHEAD OF OUR TIME AND PLACE.WE ARE THE LEADERS AND NOT THE FOLLOWERS BECAUSE OF OUR ABILITY TO THINK IN NEW AND SUBVERSIVE WAYS-OUTSIDE THE BOX,SO TO SPEAK.JOSEPH SMITH,CREATOR AND PROPHET OF THE MORMON RELIGION,14MILLION MEMBERS WORLDWIDE-WAS CONSIDERED A 'WEIRDO' FOR HIS TIME AND PLACE.HE WAS A VISIONARY AND SAW BEYOND AND AHEAD.THIS IS WHAT US 'WEIRDOS' DO.-LOTS OF LOVE AND BELIEF IN YOUSELF-LADYLUSHX

I agree, but sometimes it's lonely to be ahead of your time. :)

Sounds like a most wonderful kind of "weird".

Dose weird come in to the equation? It’s a bit like the saying hew are mad. The ones slogging their guts out working for not enough to live on, or the ones in mental asylums looking out watching them!

I see it from both sides of the fence. I cant help stopping and offering a hand only to bet told. “Moor than my job is worth. Health and safety!” I simply say hello to a stranger whilst walking an old laydays dog to have that person give me a look as if I have come from a foren planet.

And if I get seen looking at a old oak beams on a old cottage while holding hands with my new partner in life the normal people seem to think I’m considering robbing the place. After all; for what other reason would any one want to look at someone’s house?

I know that it is considered to be old when your well into your 50s. But I come from the country were we never had a lock on the door. We never had much in life; but we shared what we had. And it didn’t matter if you were born thick as two short planks. You helped others when there was something that you could do.

Were I came from it wasn’t considered to be weird. It was a small community were every one knew each other; and everyone respecter each other for their individuality.

I can’t say that I have ever really been religious over the last 50 or so years. I don’t see you have to go to any church or temple to be a good person. That’s down to others to guide you when your young, and for you to decide how you wish to be in life!

By all accounts there are over 400 different types of religions! (That’s a lot!) So which one is right? The members of each and every one seem to think that their one is the right one. They can’t all be right can they! But that doesn’t mean that they are all wrong either now dose it? Personally I think the right religion is the one that suites you for what ever reason that may be! Just be happy to except that others have their personal beliefs.

Having my own personal beliefs; dose that make me weird? Am I weird to actually want to stop and help change a flat tyre of some ones car in the in a back country lain when it’s raining, Or go and lead a stray horse back away from a motorway. Or is it really wrong to give your last 50p to someone when they haven’t got enough to bye that bottle of cold drink on a hot summer’s day? May be; and maybe not! It’s taken me 50 years to decide that it’s the way of a Pagan! (Not that there is just one form of Paganism!!)

It’s just the way I am. I like to look at the good things in life. I like to help other people if I can. I like to think that this world will still be a wonderful place long after I have left it so my daughter can enjoy it with every one else that wants to enjoy it with her.

So you tell me; am I weird?

Am I one of the ordinary people looking at weird ones in life? Or am I one of the weird ones looking back at the ordinary folk in life?

It doesn’t bother me either way. I am hew I am. I will carry on doing what I believe is right for one and all, whilst trying not to deliberately offend others.

But I’m happy to say that If you are weird, I shore do know a lot of weird people!!!!

Some say that what you do is weird. In the US, where I live, many become so contained in their own worlds, their own existence and pleasures that to look out for the well being of a stranger really is weird. However, I admire your values and I pray that you never, ever stop being who you are, regardless if it is weird or not. I do not allow others to label me, and I appreciate that you do not either.

That's not weird! That's uniqueness! I find that quirky people are far more fun and interesting than "normal" people!

quirky is just the politically correct way to say weird. I enjoy being weird and not being like everyone else. I embrace it. It gives me power and strength and helps me to feel like I don't have to follow the pack.

I think what you do is still the norm.I see people talking to strangers all the time in the places i visit.I still see people stopping to smell the flowers and offering to help others.I like life that way.

i am also considered a weird one by a lot of people lol

be proud of that....unless YOU want to change it. Then do that. But be who you are and who you want to be. :) best person to be.
