Give People What They Want and End Up Loosing Out In the End

I guess I became a people pleaser when I was young. I have realized that no matter how hard i try to please my mom that it won't happen in this life time.  This has carried over to trying to please every body all the time and has left me in a tail spin cause by trying to give everybody what they want I don't get what i want in the end so now I am just spinning in circles. My 15 yr old son was like that but i am hoping he is going to grow out of it.

Being a people pleaser is a hard thing to break. What you are going to have to do is become a little selfish. It is hard work at first. You don't have to be hurtful or anything like that. You may look within your self. If it is your nature to be a people pleaser then it will not change. You can change alot about any person. But you can never change the nature of a person. The problem that some run into is accepting there nature. They spend there life fighting it. But never win.
