Whenever I Don't Want To Face Reality,

I go on a mental vacation or adventure.

Writing fiction (when I manage) is one of my preferred methods, but I used to Role Play on various places, on MU*s (MUSHes, MUDs, etc. MUSH = Multi User Shared Hallucination and MUD = Multi User Dungeon/Domain/Dimension) mostly. They're still around, all you need is to look here (http://www.mudconnect.com/ Currently offering 1215 listings - 72% reachable with last spider run). You pick your own adventure theme, assume a character and play on...

Writing is something I really enjoy, once I get into an idea, scenes start to enfold in my mind, not in a true visual way (like a film or something), more conceptual (I think most people won't have a clue what I mean by this), next I "only" have to describe them. It's that "only" part that sometimes is a problem, is when they enfold too fast. Sometimes I'm the main character, sometimes I switch characters (when I'm not feeling too well, I even switch during dialogs, which is very annoying to say the least). Kind of LARP (Live Action Role Play) in your head, but you're also all the people there... But where is the pause button on them?

At the moment I keep getting stuck with my writing (due to the character switching), but that doesn't stop me from trying whenever I feel good enough.. :) It's always interesting.
