I Worked Very Hard
I had quit smoking finally. I defeated the biggest demon in my life. I did it by eating my self to sleep everyday so I would never have a chance to crave a cig.
After a couple solid months I realized I was gross. Fat. I was already out of shape a little from growing up and living poorly, but after two months of force feeding all day everyday, I was gross. I could't suck in the gut at all. It was just too big. I was embarrassed everywhere I went. My arms no longer had muscles on them. my chest was undefined. My legs were skinny as hell.
I joined the gym down the street. I looked like an idiot at first. I couldn't bench press 165 more than once. I need a spotter for everthing. I didn't know what I was doing. So I watched the others, worked hard, developed a plan and a diet from some books and pro advice. I never gave up. I stuck right to my diet and dealt with the irritation. For ten months I trained hard. I slept enough. Drank a lot of water. Ate healthy meals at specific intervals. I ran, lifted, lifted more, and avoided the temptations. For months.
Four days ago I bench pressed 260 pounds. My legs are substantially larger, with deep cuts in them. I have a decent six pack(not perfect, not yet), with obliques that couldn't look better. I have deep cuts in my chest and tris. My back has an hourglass shape in the middle that prodominantly stands out through my shirt. My shoulders are round and hard. My bicepts are awesome and three dimensional.
Im not bragging about my body, just my accomplishment. Discipline and commitment paid off for me. Summers coming soon and the shirts are gonna come off. Every old friend I see always says, "you look really good". It feels so good. Its so rewarding. Now when I look at the scale im hoping for higher numbers, because theres really only a little fat left. A healthy, good amount of fat. So, tell me about how you got in shape.
