I Bowl Better Drunk

For my 21st birthday my wife, family, and friends took me out drinking and bowling. My family always would "bowl for beers" meaning that anytime you got a strike, you got a beer. Well I'm not much of a beer drinker so my friend and I decided we would bowl for JD (a swig from my new birthday flask each strike)...Unfortunately I had been bowling in a league that year and was averaging around a 180.

Needless to say, about a game and a half into the night, I was getting pretty drunk, but I was bowling better than I usually did. My sister had made a couple of trips back to the car to refill the flask for us whenever we emptied it. By the third game, I had one frame where I went to bowl, felt the ball come out of my hand, my feet come up off the ground, and my *** plant on the floor. I rolled over and said, "I don't think I'll be needing any more to drink tonight," to which my friend responded, "Too bad, rule are rules," and pointed down the lane. Somehow I had managed a strike while completely busting my ***. My buddy handed me the flask, I took a drink, and proceeded to bowl a 225 that game (my personal best at the time). After that game I don't really remember anything else, but it was a fun night.
