Scary Movie

When I was about 10 years old I was up late watching a scary movie about a witch that got her head cut off and the head was flying around trying to find the body ( pretty scary stuff 30 years ago!) something made a noise outside and I looked at the window and there were these two big glowing eyes! I freaked out! turns out it was just our black lab looking in the window and the light from the tv reflecting in its eyes.

Pretty funny now, I still think about old max ( my black lab) when something spooks me, and laugh! Kind of my way of putting my fears aside. Thanks Max

Yeah but that story reminded me of that. I laugh about it today. AND the book was way better than the movie!

that is pretty funny!

You know, it's not unusual for kids that young to react that way to scary things. At least what we perceive to be scary.
I remember reading Stephen Kings "Salems Lot" when I was 13 or 14. I was in my room listening to Pink Floyd's Animals album. Now that's some freaky music. That coupled with this scary as hell book, well, let's just say I was totally freaked out!
I couldn't even watch the movie alone until I was about 30!
I know it's corny but sometimes it is just that way!

That is so awesome, it is a great kirky funny memory.
