Didn't Know

I was grown and out of my house before I realized just how poor I grew up.  Money and "stuff" was something that had no importance in our home.

Growing veggies in the garden, spending the summer canning veggies and making jelly to me were normal.

It's too bad we don't live our lives this simple way anymore.

I wholeheartedly agree. Humans make things so complicated that new diseases develop from the stress they've placed themselves under.

Strange how all of us feel no regrets and were pretty happy not to grow up in luxury...

I've always valued simplicity. It seems that you were able to collect many wonderful memories from your childhood from growing veggies in the garden to making jelly.

Thats the truth! A simpler way of life!
