am white 45 year old with a 21 year old son who is dating a black girl. It started me thinking about a crush I had on a black girl in my school in 1977 and 1978. This was in Wisconsin and there wasn't a lot of white guy / black girl relationships happening out in suburbia let alone in my school. She wasn't in my class and I just didn't have the balls to approach her, but it sure did make me look forward to school for a couple of years. Lately I've been daydreaming about what might have happened if we'd connected. Any white guys here have dating experiences with black girls to share. I keep thinking maybe if I'd been out in Oakland or LA it would have been easier,
