I Did....

I was brought up in segregated education from the age of 4 to 16, I was only educated with Protestants, let out of school at different times to the Catholic school in town in case a riot would ensue.

My favourite teacher was actually my first ever Catholic teacher-  a fierce feminist and republican who hated most people.  She was my law and politics tutor, whilst the law class was full, eventually in the final months of my politics A-Level, it was just me and her in the class.

We talked about politics - to extent I lost all biasedness of my own political concepts that had been brought to me in very one-sided textbooks, we talked of buddhism, diets and health, of spirituality and a great deal of things that were not open to me before.  The year after I started university she left teaching to restart her law firm.
