I Had a Mean Teacher
Well every female in my family that has attended college with the exception of me and my sister are teachers. Everyone expected that fungirl would also become a teacher; however I had different plans. I paid for my own education for this reason. I majored in Business Administration and Accounting. Growing up most kids loved my mom but gosh I couldn't stand her constant nagging about my education... Did you sign up for this class or did you sign up for this extracurricular activity. Did you finish that book yet? Did you sign up for Spanish? German? You made a "B" what happened? Did you study!!! Well today my answer would be "hell no I didn't study because you nagged the hell out of me and it is better than getting 25% correct (LOL wink wink)" but back then I would be the obedient child. My mom drove me to be the best I could be while it was OK for my brother to make a B it wasn't acceptable for me. I hated her at times but today I am appreciate that she drove me to be the very best person I could academically and that is one thing in my life that I am truly thankful for is that I have a good education.
