I have not met Jesus, although I belive in him. I did, however, meet an angel. Did you know that angels can lie. His lie saved my life.

That is an awesome experience. I lost my mother 8 days ago (May 3, 2012), and often wonder where she is and if she is with my brother who passed away in 1989 and her 2 sisters. My mother was an active 80 year old lady (that looked 70) and rarely got sick. She was my best friend. I am very sad and miss her very much, but reading your experience gives me comfort that she is in a better place - no more pain, no more suffering she is with God. I needed that. Thank you for sharing.

I am sorry for your loss, but remember that it is temporary ! You will be with her again, just live the best life you can to honor your mother. Hugs :)

Thank you lydream for sharing your experience. I love the way you expressed the change in your life. You are right, it does change our perspective. I find I am NOT living on faith alone because I now KNOW , and I often feel sad for the aethest and agnostic and wish I could some way shout from the rooftops "There is life after death, and it is fantastic !"

We are here to learn unconditional love and tolerance of all beings. It is the reason we exist. It is a lot harder than I first thought it would be.

thank you paco. I too was raised in a Catholic home, so understand the agnostic thing, I would still be there if not for this experience.

Beautiful story. Although I am currently agnostic, with a Catholic upbringing, I've always thought of heaven as my home from a very early age.

    Thanks for sharing your experience.

    :-)

Well, I'm not one for religion, but glad that experience turned out looking good for you, being able to find a faith that you're personally involved and strongly believe in. Personal experiences help a lot in faiths, and I guess you found one true to your heart. Hope that gives you much more direction and meaning in what lies ahead in your life :)
