I Had a Refresher Course of My Nde

I had moved cross country to get married.  It was a disaster.  We mutually agreed to forget the whole idea and I was on my way home, but stopped at an aunt's house because I hadn't seen her in years.

I became so depressed while I was there.  I didn't want her or her family to know how badly I felt.  I was in my room getting dressed for dinner; unstoppable tears running down my face and trying very hard not to sob out loud.

"Please," I said to myself, "Don't let me fall apart in front of them."  As I reached for the door and grabbed the doorknob, a warm, loving feeling filled me.  No words were spoken.  I felt them.

I don't know how long the experience lasted.  While I was enveloped with the warmth and love, I was reassured that I was not alone and I would be all right.  The calmness that filled me left me in awe.  I knew I had been in touch with something much bigger than me.  And I knew I had a similar experience, but I didn't know when.

I made it through dinner and much, much more.  The peaceful feeling stayed with me for months.  When my ex-fiance came to take me to the airport, I wasn't mad at him anymore; I loved him again, but a different kind of love.  An accepting love.  All the hurt was gone.

Months later, while out with my friends, a strange thing happened.  A complete stranger came to our table and talked only to me.  He said he had been watching me and he saw total serenity.  It was like he was reading my aura, not trying to pick me up.  I thanked him and he left the table.  The warm, loving feeling bubbled up from inside again.

I can only describe this as an NDE, except I was awake and completely aware of what was happening.  I wasn't scared at all.

Has this happened to anyone else?  I've read that it sometimes happens after an NDE.  I wish it would happen again.  It's a total natural high. 

Just think what the world would  be like if everyone could feel this way.
