2nd Sigmoidoscopy - Today

Hi - Not to belittle the other's experiences here, but today I had my 2nd sigmoidoscopy.  These things are NO BIG DEAL. I think that nowadays a lot of folks are SO used to an extremely high level of "comfort" that they get bent out of shape with even a relatively small amount of inconvenience.  I'd sure rather have been sleeping in or reading a newspaper this morning, but the minor inconvenience of this morning's sigmoidoscopy is truly insignificant when weighed against the terrible prospect of colon cancer.

Please don't let people's negative words about this procedure deter you from having it done.
