I'm Glad I Did

The closest I can come to an analogy is a near miss of a car accident. Of course you are shaken and upset for a little while, but soon you get over it. Something important, devastating, and life changing almost happened, but it didn't actually happen. I am so glad that people can actually feel like this. I have never had an abortion, nor have I had kids, but I know that I would get an abortion if I were to get pregnant. I cannot support a child, and I am not ready to have one. I am just so happy that there are stories of women having an abortion and it being this way. Too many horror stories from people who have never actually been through it. I thank you for this.

Wow Im glad your not unhappy with your decision. I hear a lot of horror stories about how women regret it and their lives are never the same. But its nice to know thats not always the case. I feel too if I ever had to make the choice I would probably go with abortion. Depending on the situation though. Desperation can get the best of you. Again glad it worked out for the best. :)

You said your abortion was similar to a near miss automobile accident. What was missing was the dead baby. That seems quite a reach of a comparison.
A person may feel the pain 10--20 years later. Patricia Neal said she cried every night for the baby she lost due to the movie rulers insisting she abort so her career would continue in a beautiful way.
The group called Rachel's Vineyard has a free weekend session where the woman might come to terms with the abortion. St. Joseph's is a program for men....just in case someone reads this blog for help. Patricia in St. Louis, MO
