I HAD GASTRIC BYPASS ON SEPTEMBER 19TH 2011 AND I WOULD LIKE TO MEET AND DISCUSS EVERYONE WHO HAVE HAD THE SURGERY OR IS GOING TO HAVE IT SO I CAN COMPARE MY DAILY LIFE CHANGES WITH THEM AND THEY CAN SHARE THERE STORIES ALSO

I am having my surgery Dec 15th on my liquid diet now I am having a hard time I am just starving thats all I drink a lot of water more than what I need to and have my other stuff but darn if I am not hungry. I am looking for other people that have had or having the surgery just so I can talk with someone else that is going thru what I am or will be going thru. This is not an easy way out that is for sure. Best of luck to you.

Congrats on the new u. I just had my surgery last week 10/13/2011 and everything is going fine. No dumping syndrome some slight pain in the incision are, but other than that great. I am onstage 2 still but i have my post op this thursday 10/27/11 can't wait! I am looking foward to stage 3, my sister had the lap band done in september and she is doing great also. What keeps me going is prayer walks with my dog. I started at 295lbs 7/27/11 and now today 250lbs 45 lb lost i really need to hit the gym to tighten things up wish me luck keep in touch and let me know how your journey is coming along. Hey there..I had mine sept6th 2011...It has been a learning expierance for sure. I am in the pureed and soft stage....I have had a little trouble with meat....make sure you add a lot of gravy or apple sauce to your meats...and grind them up good...I eat salmon at a resturant the other day and was throwing up white frothy stuff in every bathroom in the mall PLUS I had to do it in a garbage can in the mall..So SICK! lesson learned...It isn't easy but it will get better...I lost 33lbs from start to now...I still have pain on my left side...I also had 2 hernias that they reparied...Get off the couch and walk walk walk..I do 31/2 miles 4x's a wk....even if I don't feel good I do it..after you start you'll feel 100% better...
