My Children Both Had Glandular Fever

Both my children had glandular fever 1 year apart from each other. Both had relapses the next year. The relapses take much longer than the initial fever. My youngest,10 years old is currently at home for her ninth week. We have been injecting with B12, but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions on how to boost her immune system? Relapses seem to take up to 3 months and then followed by a weak phase. Anyone experienced this?

Apparently there is no medicine that will stop the recurrence of Glandular Fever which is caused by the Epstein-Barr virus. I would suggest keeping your family healthy in order to keep their immune systems at peak performance. You should all eat healthy food and take multivitamins daily. In addition, you should supplement with Vitamin C and zinc. Vitamin C can be taken safely in large quanities; I take 500 mg every three hours!
