Yep. Happened to Me Many Times

o many times i've put my computer or something in for repair, and when it's come back, it's had a million other things going wrong with it. It's completely ridiculous. Sometimes I think they just do it so that you have to keep coming back and paying them for pointless repairs -_- I hate the fact that so many things these days cost so much more in repairs and the likes than they're worth.

 | Posted Apr 29th, 2009 at 12:36PM I foresaw that computer fixers would become pretty-much like mechanics a few years ago. I build my own computers and look after-'em myself. Laptop at work can have this problem though, when I give it to the techs there :) |
 | Posted Apr 29th, 2009 at 10:37PM They do that so you will have to keep buying new products and the manufacturers will have more business. It is more obvious in cheaper appliances (printers, refregerators, ect.) They aren't built to last and the repairs often cost more than buying a new one would. With computers it is harder to see because usually it has to be repaired many times before the total repair cost exceeds the cost of a new one. I think keeping a computer working is mostly luck. I know people who have 6 month old computers that are breaking down and people who have 4 year old computers that work great still (with similar computers). |
