Too Young For This!

Hi there. I'm 23 and I had my gallbladder removed about 2 years ago. Let me tell you best and WORST decision I ever made. Right off the bat it was fantastic. I had 3 stones so the removal of those was an immense relief. However after that I started to notice my diet HAD to change. Everyone says you can go back to eating regularly. This is WRONG. Chances are it was your diet that led you to the surgery in the first place, like in my case, so you very much cannot go back to eating the same things or you will abuse your missing organ. My diet changed completely. I went from crappy processed fatty foods to a mostly vegetarian organic diet. This was the biggest and most important change. This is where it becomes the worst decision I ever made, if I had just made that health change before having the surgery I could have fixed my organs all myself and now not be missing an essential digestive organ. They say you can live with no gallbladder and its true but it's rough. I would advise you to think VERY VERY carefully before having this procedure and consider a diet change first. It's very hard to digest a lot of things when you have a shortage of stomach acid.
