Aortic Valve Replacement

My story starts in April 2012, when I found out I needed surgery to fix my valve. I have known I had a valve problem since I was 9 months old.
I'll keep this short, I had my surgery on the 18th of December 2012, I was told the surgery went well. I was supposed to be home on christmas eve but an echocardiogram showed that I had a build up of fluid around my heart so I couldn't go home. On the 27th od Decemeber I had another echo which showed the fluid level had increased so that afternoon I was back in theatre and being opened up a second time to drain the fluid. Thankfully I was home on the 29th of Decemeber and so far I'm doing fantasic, the fluid has not gathered since so I'm now feeling like my old self again.

I'm 32 years old and just had my aortic valve replaced four weeks ago. Most of my pain has moved to my upper back because of the way I have to sleep and is getting worse any suggestions?

how long did it take for your chest to feel back to normal? Also how long did take for you to be able to stand up straight again?

My chest still isnt "normal". Last time it was right before. It can take up to 4 years
