You will do fine. I had mine in Tijuana Mexico on Jan 21 2013, I am 4 weeks out,and I have lost 25 pounds. I am 66 years old. My Daughter went with me and she has lost 30. She is 44 years old. I had no pain of any kind, nothing, through the whole procedure. My Daughter had a small amount on her left side for a short time, until they took the drain out then she was fine.

Please take a breath. Take another. I haven't had my surgery yet but hope to get my date very soon. Do you have a support group where you're getting your surgery? Do you have the food, etc. that you need? If you just need a little support, you'll surely have my prayers or, if you prefer, my sending positive messages for you into the universe. If you really think you just CAN'T do it, then call it off tomorrow. However, everyone I've talked to at the practice I'm using has 99% positive things to say. Obviously, there may be some minor bumps in the road but gastric surgery now seems to have far fewer downsides to it than the immense positive in a life not tied to food for most folks! You'll be in my thoughts!

Well first off, congrats on making such a step as this. It really is brave of you :)
second, my advice is this: in all you do, be careful. what this means is up to you.
I pray all goes well for you, ma'am.

The most important thing is to calm yourself. Everything else will fall into place. :)
