I agree with you. I hate it when people are cruel to animals. One time in a town not to far from where I live, this person tied a cat to the back bumper dragging it down the street, and the cat was severly injured, but the cops pulled the guy over, and he was charged with animal cruelity, and had to face jail time. The cat miracluasly survived, and was adopted out to a good home. It is just thriving now. I know the couple that adopted it, and they call every so often, and tell me how the cat is doing. There was 14 different couples that wanted to adopt the kitten, but the ones I know were able to adopt it. They have really got it spoiled, and it is doing really good. Talk to you later.

I totally agree with both of you. and I can't watch that commercial, I will cry every time if I do.

I agree the commercial makes me cry every time I watch it. It makes me wish I had tons of land and could open an animal sanctuary. One day maybe I will..

mickey....if you open that sanctuary...please contact me and i will come and help!!!!!!!!!!! OH YES! it truly is a sad commercial...expecially when the german shepherd is seizing on the floor.............I'm sorry i said that.......*crying*

wow, here i just thought i was a big sap because i get emotional when that commercial comes on. i'm right there with all of you. i used to want to start a sanctuary, too. it is very difficult for me to understand why someone would intentionally hurt an animal. just don't get it.

I agree with every last one of you. I'm glad to know that there are people in the world like me. And Mickey, contact me too about the sanctuary! I would love to help out as much as possible.

Okay, don't get me wrong. I get weepy-eyed at those commercials, too.

But there is a 2nd commercial she came out with, very similar to the first, and it cracks me up. She's sitting there, saying something to the effect of "Don't let another animal suffer in silence." And I'm watching the dog she's cuddling up with, and its ears are down, it's eyes are a little wide, and it's lip licking, and I just want to scream, "DUDE! There is an animal suffering in silence right next to you!" I don't know if it's because she's cuddling the dog (which most dogs hate) or if it's because of the cameras and lights and all the crazy things that go into filming that tend to spook animals, but she's sitting there with one stressed-out dog and doesn't even know it!

I grant you, that amount of stress isn't a big deal, and I do that to my own cats because sometimes I want to hug them, and the good the commercial does outweighs the stress that dog experienced that day but ... if you're going to do that, can't you either get a dog trained for camera work or train that dog properly so it's not a stressful time for the dog? I feel like I'm the only one who notices. Of course, if more people understood dog behavior and signs of stress, Cesar Millan would never stay on the air, so I shouldn't be surprised about the poor dog in this commercial. :P

I can't watch that commercial.
I also walk out of the room if someone is watching Animal Cops Shows that are on at night.
