I'm the same. I have a passion for language, and I think using grammar and spelling appropriately is part of loving and respecting it!

I do make mistakes, of course - I'm sure everyone does. But I'm prompt to correct them when I notice it... even i it means editing a year-old story of mine on here!

Me too girl, in fact, I did that last night. I admit that I text a lot and it is easy to spell like that when i am writing, but I think it is lazy. However, since I am from the South, I find that when I am commenting or chatting, I use words like "kinda" and "wishin" and things like that, but when I am in writer mode, I am very anal retentive about my grammar.

I do use kinda, wanna... when chatting or posting non-serious stuff, or rants... It's allowed, I think! :)

You don't have to worry, Sweetie. I understand that there are many people on this site for whom English is their second language. My comment was really geared towards print media such as newpapers and magazines who have poor editors.
