Who Me

I have bad grammar! I don't talk to adults much.(I have 4 children that Im with all the time) I also spell very bad. I wish I could be better at both. I plan for my children to be better than I. I didn't get very far in school I was a runaway because my mother and her husband were very bad drunks. As a child no one talked to me much. One day I will try harder.

dont hate me

Read to your children; you'll all learn more. Even when I was small and beginning to read, when I'd come across a word I didn't know (meaning), Mom would urge me to get out the dictionary and look it up. She never used "baby talk" with us, either. As a result of her (and Dad's) example (being readers, themselves, too), we (sister and I) developed excellent language skills. You can do it, too. You can even learn WITH your kids!

I don't hate you. You can start here:
"I spell very poorly" instead of "I spell very bad". "Poorly" is an adverb that can modify a verb, an adjective, another adverb, a phrase, or a clause. In this case it modifies the verb "speak".

Most adverbs end with the suffix "-ly".

An adverb indicates manner, time, place, cause, or degree and answers questions such as "how," "when," "where," "how much".

So, how do you speak? You speak poorly.

I love grammar.
I'm an adult...kinda. You can talk to me. And ask me grammar and spelling questions. Ooo, I love those. I love reading your posts!
