work on the phone so I am constantly putting people on hold--OK guys, don't hate me. Let me just say in my defense, I pick people back up real quick!
On the other hand, I hate when I'm put on hold! Especially when working because hey, I'm busy, too! Outside of work I've been put on hold as long as 10mins or more. What kind of moron stays on hold that long?? I think it's a conspiracy to make you frustrated so you will hang up and they don't have to deal with you!

  | Posted Jul 1st, 2008 at 4:16AM I don't know- I work in customer service, and the only reason to put someone on hold for that long is to be a jerk! I hate calling anywhere to get help, it seems to take longer and longer as time goes on. And now everything is automated! It drives me nuts.   |
 | Posted Oct 3rd, 2008 at 3:31PM thats nothing i was one on hold for over an hour, but i was damned if i was giving in and going away, i think a lot of people do it on purpose, because they dont know how to deal with it or cant be assed, nice to know you try not to put people on hold for to long lol. |
