I Hate Cancer

The Darkness Inside

Cancer is useless, painful and it creeps like a stalker through the bodies and psyches of a few of my loved ones. I don't hate much in life, but I HATE cancer.

To all of my loved ones: I am always here to chat, my mother survived early stages of cervical thru endometriosis and well, some of you know my current (EDIT: past, we split) battle for love.

    Deepest sympathy to LifeIsPrecious. I hope that, despite those terrible hardships, she felt that the battle was worth it. I remember the attitude of a former member of EP, Jimmythe Bull, who lost his fight with cancer, aged only 20. He seemed to know when the time had come to give up, with grace, and bow to the inevitable with dignity, although he battled the disease ferociously, while he could.



    A few days ago, I paid a melancholy visit to see my cousin and her terminally ill husband. His 5 year fight against cancer is nearly over. he is all skin and bone, yet dignified and at peace.

    As do all of us who have seen what it does to loved ones and the suffering caused when attempts to cure or arrest it fail.
