I Hate Coffee
I come from a long line of coffee drinkers - the kind that drown themselves in pot after pot each day. It seemed only natural that I'd carry on this tradition. Not to mention I always thought that once you got old enough that's just what you did ... drink coffee.
I've tried coffee in about every flavor known to man, with sugar, without sugar, with cream, without cream, plain and black, with sugar and cream ... I've gone so far as to attempt adding coffee to a hot beverage I do enjoy - hot cocoa (don't try this ... it takes a rather large spatula to peel your hyper, over-stimulated bum from the ceiling or wall you have pasted yourself to.)
It makes no difference that I somewhat enjoy the smell of fresh brewed coffee, I simply do NOT like coffee. It's bitter, it's hot, and it's straight up awful!
Alas, the end of the coffee tradition in our family as my younger brother too dislikes this warm, dark beverage.
