let's hear it for pointless classes, and paying thousands of dollars to attend them! seriously, with all the money we spend on college each semester, i feel like we should be learning a lot more than we actually are. last year, i learned a small handful of "interesting" things, but nothing that was really useful, and most of it was nothing i didn't know already.

a lot of the stuff we go over seems like a review from high school. most of my profs have been good teachers, but i still can't help wondering, what's the point of investing all this time and money? is it all worth it? i feel like i keep coming back to the same answer: no.

I have found many pointless classes along my college career too. I had this philosophy class that I guess was supposed to make me think but I just struggled to find a point in it the whole semester.

This semester's theme seems to be incompetent professors. My Human Resource Management prof is indeed not a prof but an owner of a consulting firm in town. I am sure he is a great consultant but I am not sure about his teaching skills. He seems to ramble on endlessly and barely touch over what we read. In a way I don't care but at the same time this is a class for my major.

My media writing prof is ur stereotypical artist. Very scatter brained and unorganized. Like theres this one book we need for the class and its on backorder in the bookstore so she photocopied it for us to read online, which is really hard and unfair to us. And I'm paying so much to go here...
