I Hate Cops
I was asleep on my bed, when I heard loud yelling, almost like chanting, and loud stomping feet. I woke up in a panic, as my house had been invaded a few months earlier, and jumped out of bed, skidding into the dining room. I froze, my eyes wide with panic when I saw them though. Large men dressed in blue, with thick police vests on, all marching into my house. "Get her!" They said, when they saw me. I took a step back, feeling my heart sink and my breathing stopped. As three men approached me, one of them at my front door stopped them and said, "don't worry about her. Just sit her down." Three men surrounded me as I was put into one of the dining chairs. Two guarded me, while I watched these police officers stomp through my house, going into all the rooms. There was heaps of them, and I couldn't believe this was happening.
My mum had been dealing marijuana for a few years, and I knew we had gotten big, but not that big, to warrant what felt like a huge raid for just weed. I watched the police sniffer dogs come in, two big, black dogs that went through our rooms as well, and they took them into my room to sniff all through my drawers. I was angry they were invading my privacy, and all these men were going through my personal stuff, as well as discovering my bong collection on the top of my wardrobe.
They collected my family members and grouped us together in the lounge room. As they searched my house, my brother told me what had happened to him. He was on the computer, when they all came in through the front door. Before he had time to react, they pulled him off his chair, pushed him to the ground and twisted his arm behind his back, then just held him there. My dad had a similar story. Soon my mum came in through the front door, handcuffed with her hands behind her back, crying that we all had nothing to do with her drug dealing.
She was kept away from us, but she kept yelling at the top of her voice, that it was all her and I knew it was her way of telling us to keep our mouths shut and let her take the fall for all of this. Although it was my mums business, and my dad truly had nothing to do with it, it was because of me it started. It was my friends she dealt to, who asked her to help out other friends, and soon it all got out of control, but we were loving the money that was coming in. The business grew so big, me and my brother took on roles in it, as did some family friends. I weighed it up and packaged it, whereas my mum dealt it in the car, and my brother would deal it on foot.
I watched as the evidence piled against us, on the floor, with each thing they found- 2 pounds of marijuana, $10,000 in cash or more, 3 sets of scales in different sizes... But they didn't take our muller or bong which was strange. They also spared me my bong collection.
The rest of the night was a blur, I just remember after they left, I felt like I couldn't breathe. Our weed, all of our weed was gone! I went into a panic, searching for every crumb I could find to help me deal with this stressful situation. Luckily I had hidden two grams the night before when me and my mum had gotten into a fight, so we all sat around the bong, greatful for what we had left. Our small habit, had turned into the suburb empire of dealing, and now we were back to our humble beginnings with even less than what we started out with... Until we realised they hadn't found the other two pounds under the house and what money they had found was only small change. Lmao, **** you cops :P
