Anything But Country

I'm not trying to be rude or offensive or anything, but I don't like country music. It's not a racial thing or a culture thing for me. For me, country music doesn't have any soul. I love rock music, metal music, rap music, r&b music, classical music, because all of the music has a driving force behind it. I also love music with greats beats and just things that get to the core of your heart and soul. However, country does not do that for me. The only country songs I have liked were Before He Cheats by Carrie Underwood and The First Cut Is the Deepest sang by Sheryl Crow. Other than that, I hate country. I just don't get why a person would want to make country music other than the fact that it's silly and fun. Why do you want to make country music a career?

Also, people who don't have natural southern accents have to change their voices into a southern accent just to fit the mood and tone of country music. I wonder if artists who do that feel dumb? I'd feel really stupid if I had to change my entire accent just to sound like I have a country one. I don't know, the whole concept of country music just doesn't make any sense to me, therefore I can not enjoy it. I can't enjoy a song that doesn't cut to the deep of my soul or heart.
