that is one of the most stereotypical things i have ever seen. The reason people cut themselves varries between them, but you make it sound like they just do it to show how alone they are.

Every generation suffers their parents domestication, and each evolves to what is presented. Most emo kids have grown up in situations that are truly horrible and no guidance or relief, fending for themselves they choose the heart instead of cold. And it is emotional but at least they are holding on and fighting the consequences of our society by staying "emotional" at all, or else we may have a world of sociopaths on our hands. We feel so we can remember, or disappear in the madness of our world, you do not reach out, no one does, you are a part of the problem of continued pain and suffering. It is their right to not have to be alone in a place where we are surrounded by millions but mute without choice. Kudos to those who still feel.
