Depression Caused By Fairweather Friends

I recently had a mental breakdown, but after realizing the source of my breakdown was simply fairweather friends, I realized it wasn't me, but them. I did nothing wrong to them... girls at the age of 19 can be quite catty and immature. I am much more mature than a lot of people my age and it frustrates me.

I don't get along with people sometimes because people can be so fake sometimes. I hate fake fairweather friends that are cliquey and mean. It's just so ridiculous. this girl I knew stopped being friends with me and then stole my other best friend because two of the first girl's friends didn't like me because I was more "mature" and "experienced" than them.

Simply put, I made them uncomfortable because I had sex way before them (they talked about having sex like it was some amazing quest they had finally accomplished). Either way, I'm totally okay with the fact that I've lost them, but I realize now that loneliness is the cause for suicidal thoughts. When you connect to no one, you lose a great deal of life...

I realized the very strong importance of friendships and relationships in my life. I need people to live in this world... after finding good friends I realized I found every thing I ever needed. I'm just now trying to get off these damn psychiatric drugs so I can finally be free and get back control of my mind - 100%.

I'm also very anti psychiatric drugs but I'll save that rant for another day. ;)
