I Hate Fake People
I get the fact there are people in this world who are not happy with themselves and dream the life of living as someone else for the day. But when you meet people on the internet, it's no different to meeting people in real life, apart from the fact you type on a keyboard to talk and have a computer in front of you. However, the same standards apply when interacting with people. If you make yourself out to be who you are not to be, not only are you taking people's kind nature for granted but you are also insulting that person's intelligence. Deception only lands in more problems and stress than there needs to be.
"Lies are limited by nature." A quote I go by as policy, there in no point in telling lies, you are only going to get found out at some point in time. These people seem to forget the concept that they might find someone online, start developing feelings and meet them in person then fall head over heels for them. Once the other person finds out how much of a fake they have been, there is a high chance that the liar will lose out on what probably could have been the biggest love of their life.
What makes me sick the most, and I have had this happen to me twice now. You talk to someone, get to "know" (put in speech marks as they are fake), travel a long distance to meet them. Find out that only are they not who they claim to be, but they look nothing like the person on the profile or photo album. I find these people not only a waste of space and time, but my heart goes out to those that get messed around with by fake people. Even more so to those that fall in love, only to realise that their feelings have been toyed with when they could have spent it on someone better.
