You Can Wish It All Away - I'll Always Be There

You can tell yourself you're happy, pretend your world is perfect; no matter what you say, I'll always be your lost son. Perhaps someday you'll realize how wrong you have been, too little too late. Your far past due for a reality check. As much as you'll never see, you've lost me long ago, and you are in all regards dead to me. Nothing more than an uncomfortable memory, one which eventually will fade from my existence. If nothing else I hope you learn how little you knew me. If only you put half the time into getting to know me as you did in trying to mold me, perhaps things would have turned out differently. I wish you the best and hope you can someday accept the reality of your lives and your situation. In finding myself, I can't say you deserve any credit. I am thankful to have broken free from your fantasy world where denial is the answer to all that ails. I don't care to see the end result of that lifestyle when you've realized all you have created is meaningless and superficial, as at its core - your lies will consume you.
