I also hate god and say "**** him!" as well. But I have to clear something up: The word "suffer" (as it was used in the bible) is an old word meaning "let" or "allow," not "suffer" the way we know it now. But still..."**** god and **** jesus!"

First of all, you misinterpreted the bible and secondly you only took the first part of the entire passage. Lastly you're citing from the KJV which is the most confusing and difficult translation of the bible that's out there. The whole passage reads:
"And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them: but when his disciples saw it, they rebuked them.
But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God."
And suddenly the misunderstanding is cleared. It wasnt talking about God causing children to suffer, but saying to them, let any child who is suffering come to me, for I will accept them and love them.

Look, you bunch of louts: its not God, its not the devil, its not anyone, its life! Look, vonnie666, I'm sorry that your firstborn died in the crib. No one should have to go through that. But directing your hate at those people who believe in a higher power (because that is really what you are doing; if there is a God, he would not need justification) is misguided and makes you as bad as the bible-thumpers who say that gays and atheists are going to hell. Nature does not care about us. These natural disasters, some of which were probably made worse by global warming, are tragic, of course, but your hate is not going to solve anything. If you want to make a difference, get out there and volunteer. Everyone except Foxxy97: arguing from faith will not work. They really do not believe in God, and so will not listen to your holy scripture. Foxxy97: Get your head out of your ***. People are allowed to believe what they want. If you want your freedom of speech protected, respect theirs. If you want them to not shove their faith down your throat, then do not do the same to them. Respect their beliefs, even if you do not believe in them.

This reminds me of a story. In it, Master Tao went on a long journey into the mountains. He came upon two houses standing side by side. They looked the same, but one sounded full of song, and the other with groans of pain. Out of concern, he went into the second house first. He saw a group of men chained to a table set with sumptuous food. Each man had a long spoon full of food. However, wooden stocks had been placed on their arms, so that they could not bend their elbows to bring food to their mouths. Sighing, he went to the next house. Amazingly, he found the same thing here! A bunch of men in chains and stocks seated around a table filled with sumptuous food, each with a long spoon. But each man was happy and laughing, instead of miserable and groaning. Master Tao wondered why they were so happy, compared to the men in the other house. Then, as he watched, one man took some food in his long spoon and put it in the mouth of his neighbor! His neighbor thanked him, and then did the same for him. Master Tao ran back to the other house to let them know how to escape their torment. "Listen", he whispered to one of the men, "if you take your spoon and feed your neighbor, he will surely return the favor. Then neither of you will suffer!" The man stared at Master Tao as if he were a madman: "feed that despicable man next to me? I would rather starve than do such a thing!" And Master Tao was enlightened.

Jehovah God promises everlasting life with perfect health on a paradise earth. (Psalm 37:10, 11, 29) Says Revelation 21:3, 4: “The tent of God is with mankind . . . He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things [including today’s many problems] have passed away.” The fulfillment of this hope will mean a return from the grave. Indeed, we take comfort in Jesus’ promise that “all those in the memorial tombs”—the dead who are preserved in God’s memory—will return from the sleep of death. (John 5:28, 29)

The Bible calls death an enemy. None of us can outrun it or fight it off. Most of us have seen this enemy claim the lives of people dear to us. But Jehovah is far more powerful than death. He is the loving Rescuer who has already shown that he can defeat this enemy. And he promises to destroy this enemy, death, once and for all. The Bible teaches: “As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing.” (1 Corinthians 15:26) That is good news!

The Bible teaches that the dead “are conscious of nothing at all.” They are not alive and have no conscious existence anywhere (Ecclesiastes 9:5).

Just think! Jehovah actually yearns to bring the dead back to life. Is it not heartwarming to learn that Jehovah feels that way?

God’s purpose is that the whole earth be made into a paradise. So the dead will not be raised to life in a world filled with war, crime, and sickness. They will have an opportunity to live forever on this earth in peaceful and happy conditions.

Who will be resurrected? Jesus said that “all those in the memorial tombs will hear his [Jesus’] voice and come out.” (John 5:28, 29) Similarly, Revelation 20:13 says: “The sea gave up those dead in it, and death and Hades gave up those dead in them.” “Hades” refers to the common grave of mankind. (See the Appendix.) This collective grave will be emptied. All those billions who rest there will live again.
