I Hate Guys Who Hit Women

They Are Cowards

Plain and simple: men who strike women, whether physically or emotionally, are cowards. If they cannot find some way to communicate out of love, they do so out of fear. They basically avoid self-abuse by striking outward.

Those who seek to damage women have no self-respect, no self-worth and it comes out in the violence they promote in their relationships.

Respecting a woman is respecting yourself. Knowing they are equal, means you are equal as well. If you are forthright and open, there is no need to hide behind violence.

    you forgot to mention that women do the same thing as well - you never see any posts here about how people dont like women hitting men - its always about men hitting women - it goes both ways and neither men or women should be abusing the other in any way shape or form there are other ways to work something out - dont have to use violence - that just makes matters worse on both sides

      I hear you, and fully understand, respect and admire your point of view that violence in any shape or form does not belong in relationships. I was merely addressing the subject of the group and did not "forget" that women do the same thing. I wanted to stay on topic.

      i understand that you wanted to remain on the topic but i was just making the point that it goes both ways and that we almost always see it one sided

      also rember though that men are significantly stronger. (on average I mean, Im not saying every man is stronger then every woman, but the average male is significantly stronger then the average female) which means that when we hit, it hurts them alot more then it hurts us when they hit.... Im not saying its a good idea for a woman to hit her man, but I am saying that theres a reason we see it as one sided even when its not.

    In many ways I agree with you. However, if you stop to think that they were likely. Abused as children, and now adults associates violence with love. It's a mental illness.

      Where would it stop? If a man has any courage, he would look for help then. I appreciate that their childhoods may not have been perfect (whose is?), but does that mean he should carry on? The woman can ask for help, an intervention, something. The cycle has to stop.
