They Don't Get It

People these days talk about dying like it's a joke.
"Kill me!"
"haha, I'm going to kill myself"
"go kill yourself"

I feel like I'm going to go crazy when I hear these kinds of things, even if it's jokingly that they say it.

Death is not funny.
Death is not a joke.
Death is TERRIFYING.

I attempted suicide, and now, I'm lucky to be alive.
I regret my actions, and thank God and any other possible entity I can everyday for letting me live, for giving me a second chance.

I know how it feels to slip away, and I know how it feels to lose someone to suicide.

It's not a joke, and I don't understand why they treat it that way.
