Dinner And A Show With Little Brother

Having just had knee surgery this past Thursday, my girlfriend, who is on crutches and home bound for a few weeks is already going stir-crazy. She wanted to get out of the house for a bit so I decided to take her to dinner. After some debate, we settled on a home cooking style restaurant called Cotton Patch. My girl and I are quite obviously a lesbian couple and really don't try to hide it. You would think that since I came out at the age of 14, as a 37 year old adult I would be use to the stares and snickers. Apparently I'm not.

So my girl and I are sitting there at our table enjoying a nice quite dinner, speaking to each other in hushed tones so as not to disturb the other patrons,  when she leans over to me and says, "this woman across the aisle keeps staring at us." I nod my head in acknowledgment, clear my throat and in my most authoritative voice possible (and much louder than necessary,) say to my girlfriend, "she obviously has never seen two beautiful lesbians and is trying to get a mental image of us in bed together so that when her blue pill popping husband is trying to mount her later, she will be able to get aroused." My girlfriend just about choked on her dinner roll and the old bitty across the aisle looked and me and shook her head.

My girlfriend and I finished our meal and I helped her out of her seat. With the lady still gawking at us, I leaned over my girlfriend and kissed her full on the mouth right there inside Cotton Patch. As we walked by the lady, I smiled at her and winked and told her I hoped she enjoyed the show.
