    I disagree. I wish my mum hadn't told me what I was getting for my birthday. Sometimes it's okay to lie. It just depends on what the lie is. :) <3

    My feelings too. The truth may hurt, but it's better to know. Some people say things like "what they don't know can't hurt them" but well it will hurt more if they find out later.

      Oh god I hate that saying. At least the truth will only hurt for a short while you will get over it! It hurts more trusting someone then finding out they can't be trusted because they have lied. Once trust is gone you can't get it back.
