So Annoying

I often take a back seat position when I'm in a group of people. I go completely quiet, and become an observer. I'm often amazed at the wasteful discussions that arise from these type of situations. Meaningless chatter about the most trivial of things. Some people can't help but reveal just how stupid they really are. It's so annoying I just wanna burst out laughing. My best friend is the same, he always laughs at people saying stupid things, and having stupid conversations, but only at the end of the night. He usually joins in the conversation, because "no one likes a mute" he says...I can't do that. I'd rather say nothing at all than waste my energy on mindless jargon.

Just sit back and read the signals underneath the idle chit-chat. Body-language is the deepest conversation of all, and reveals more then the idle chit-chat it tries to disguise itself as.
