Needing Advice

I have a terribly strained relationship with my father (please read my other two stories, don't want to re-hash it all). I needed a new phone so my mom gave me my dad's old phone. It had some texts from my brother's now ex-gf. I want to know if anyone else thinks these texts are inappropriate or if I am overreacting.

A-will be the girl
D-is my dad.

A: Thank you!!! :)
D: Anything for you babe. (Side note: he calls my mom babe)

A few days later:

D: Are u missing me
A: Terribly!

A few days later:

D: What is your plan for tonight
A: U should jump in with me in the morning
D: We will see
A: Oh really? U should be jumping at the chance to ride with your favorite gal
D: My favorite gal should come see me
A: Haha you'd get me in trouble
D: But it would be fun
A: Ya it would
D: Don't be scared
A:Not scared
D: Sounds like it to me
D: Did you quite talking
A: Nope. Just out of excuses
D: I thought so
A: Tease
D: And u love it
A: ;)
D: What does that mean
A: What u think
A: Means I agree
D: Ok

End of convo.

Let me give some context. My family rodeos and she rides with them. So when they are talking about plans for the night and going in the morning, I assume they are talking about traveling to a rodeo.
When he says his fav gal, it ****** me off. He has never talked to me like that and he never texts me either. I just want to see if maybe I am overreacting, but I feel like it is inappropriate. Thanks.

I'm sorry you've had to go through all that, it must have been horrible. I can relate to a lot of what you talked about, and I was wondering if we could connect over email and perhaps share some thoughts and experiences. I would really appreciate it, and I think venting about it could be good for both of us.

Hi there. Sorry to hear about this. But you are right, it is inappropriate. I wouldn't say that you are overreacting after reading those texts. Even though the texts may seem ambiguous, it does lean more to the side, as she said, "trouble".

Thanks for responding and your input:)
