was married to my first husband. We were living in the downstairs part of a duplex, right on a well known San Diego beach. This was the kind of place where strangers walked right in when the door was open. Well, we partied long and hard and pretty much continuously. We left the place less than clean, but not one bit of damage. A couple of months later we got a notice to appear in court, where we saw pictures and heard the owner's testimony about how we had trashed the place and caused him such heartache because he had liked us so much. HAH. The scuzzbucket had torn the place apart with a crow bar. Fortunately we took several people with us. He didn't get reprimanded, and we didn't have to pay.
