I think its time to end it soon, only way I can release all my thoughts and my heart.

I understand. It doesn't matter what causes the feelings. I live life day by day or moment by moment. I avoid the things that will cause me to hurt myself. I have also found that when I'm so low, I check my phone messages and there is an improvement. Life is difficult but find support and you'll figure out a reason to stick around. Good luck.

Hi. I am a 41 yr old male with a failed marriage of 10yrs and recently lost my partner of 13yrs. She waklked out with my two babies of 6 & 4. lost job 3 yrs ago. and been unemployed since. on meds for depression for years, i self harm and have a list of ways to give me that most blessed of sleep, and have done for a long time now. Life is hard my friend, even though i don't know you or your probs, i share with you and others that life is not good. i understand that when feeling this way we can often really not care about others probs. It's not selfish and it's ok to feel like this. Your hurt is very real, but life throws enough beatings our way so don't beat yourself up. Think about this "don't sweat the small stuff" and by the way,as i read once, it is indeed all small stuff. That's probably hard to accept right now but take it from someone who has learned to live just one day at a time. 'cause nothing else matters but the present. Who knows what the future brings and eventually with enough one days under your belt, hopefully, you'll also think "Who cares what's behind me". Talk to those who will listen. Don't despair over those that don't. Take each and every success and treasure it. Everything else is just there to waste time 'til the next success. If you wake up tomorrow, you're a success because getting from day to day is perhaps the hardest thing to do right now. I believe in you and so do lot's of others, right here and now. Give yourself a reason to be here tomorrow by being friends with others like yourself, share, comfort and celebrate every day. All you need do is talk for a short time. Say "I'm still here. It was hard as hell but hey, who would have thought?" and the answers you get will make you smile. One last thing, never think you won't be missed!

Hi. I too have felt like this many times throughout my life. When I was just 16 I attempted to take my own life. It is hard to describe how I was feeling at the time but in a hopeless desire to finally feel free I made the drastic choice. I am not religious but I believe some sort of angel was watching over me that day. The days and months after I tried were some of the hardest I've endured. Some days are better then others and but many years later I've realized the darkness does pass and have however fleeting the moments of light may be, they are worth everything. Stop worrying about ending it, and being living. Everyday is a chance of a new beginning and you never know when your luckiest/happiest/epic moment might be. My heart goes out to you.

Please don't do this. I don't know the reason why you would want to do this, but I understand that you are depressed, and tired with your life.
But this isn't the way to fix your problems. There is a better way. You are not alone in what you're going through right now.
Think about your family. Your friends. Don't they care about you? Wouldn't they miss you if you were gone, wouldn't they cry over your death? They would be crushed if you were gone. There are people in this world who care about you.
Please don't do this! They always say, that with the harder challenges in life, the more better outcomes come out of it once you've prevailed over them, so please, please don't kill yourself.
Remember, think about what your death will do to your friends and family. Think about what you're trying to do. Do you really want to do this? Is this the only way you can release all the thoughts, the feelings you have in your heart?

No offense, but you are a little too young to be thinking you have had all you can take..Stick around another 15 yrs or so..you will have changed a whole hell of a lot, may not even remember the young you, very often..Then, after you have all that life experience..the hardship and the happiness..that will come...then you make the call on ending it or not.

What don't you like about it? What about your family?
