My Neighbor Is Physically Bullying My Mother

This woman, who is in her late 40s and probably weighs 180lb (~5'10") tried to hit my mother the other day. Apparently in the state of NY, physical harassment is acceptable, at least for the first time. You need to have a visible injury to press charges but of course I am not going to wait until my mother (late 60s) ends up with a black eye by this gorilla.

I don't really know what to do. Since I know now that verbal harassment cannot stand in court I suppose I can do the same, but honestly, I find it embarrassing to be standing in the street for the whole neighborhood to watch while I am screaming obscenities to this gorilla...We think such actions will only result in my mother and I being considered nutcases just as much as my psychotic neighbor. Arrgghhhh!!!!!!!!

We currently casting a new TV special for a major cable network. We are looking for neighbors who need to resolve any conflicts they are having. The issues will be resolved there mediation. This new one hour special is a good-hearted, warm documentary where a mediator will come in to help resolve the issues at hand making the neighborhood a more positive place for everyone. Think on the lines of "Intervention."<br />

We are casting in the surrounding Los Angeles areas but ALL are encouraged to apply. This is a great opportunity for the right families. Those chosen to participate will be compensated for their time!!!
