I Hate My Neighbors
I just moved back to the D (Detroit, west side) and the place is not the same as when I left. The neighborhood I moved in is nice, groomed and all, but upon closer look you find the hood rats. I live next door to a three bedroom house that has 5 or 6 adults living there and even more staying there depending on the day of the week. Most of the people there are females and they bring a lot of other females over and, of course the dudes: the wrong kind. They refuse to park in front of their house, preferring to park in front of my house blasting their music (poor quality sound system too, loud but no clarity). They don't cook. I can tell because they litter the neighborhood with discarded takeout containers and wine bottles (cheap, Boons Farm). The rest of use wake up to the trash blowing into our yards and have to pick it up. I also came home to find the fools sitting on my porch: "Oh sorry man". And just recently, I had to put a lock, a pad lock, on my trash can, because they thought it was "cool wit me" if they used it. I ask what happens when I want to use my own trash can: "oh, you can use mines, I got two". Seriously? I bought a dog (she'll be ready soon) and a Mossberge pump-action. What else can I do: I live in Detroit, but the police don't.
