Fear Of Mirrors.

At times I look into a mirror and see someone else
At times I look into a mirror and see someone better
At times I look into a mirror and see anyone but me
Those are the times where I love myself

At times I look into a mirror and see myself
At times I look into a mirror and see my true form
At times I look into a mirror and see no one but me
Those are the times I hate myself

There's no one on this Earth who hates me as much as I do

WHY SHOULD YOU HATE YOURSELF?

By Boshie

I don't like to look at my reflection,
all I see is a deflection from my former self.
That glass doesn't reflect my heart condition,
in my heart, I am still me.

I hid away from society ~ two years is a long isolation.
A few showed up at my door to tell me what is in store for me.
"There is nothing our God cannot undo, please return to us,
we miss you too..

I couldn't stand the lonliness of isolation,
I decided that I had a right to return to my friends.
I shocked a lot of people when I returned,
a few stares, but who cares?

A man said, "It's good to see you sister"
I told him I went on a long vacation.
He asked where I had gone? I said "Tarshish"
I thought he would be confused.
He wanted to know if I had made it,
or was I like Jonah?
I ran away and hid, not a good idea - just like Jonah.

We may not like what we see through the mirror;
a little too heavy, not so pretty.
My problem is tics and tremors,
sounds like I'm in an earthquake.

I care about people and they care about me.
You can't see me,
but don't you feel like you know me?
Work on your self image, I'm sure you are a nice
but sensitive person.
