I'm Tired...

I hate myself because I'm scared.

I hate myself because I can't let go of the past.

I hate myself because I can't speak up for myself.

I hate myself because I'm deserve to be treated better at work yet I don't do anything about it.

I hate myself because I can't seem to force myself to go after what I really want.

I hate myself because I'm in debt.

I hate myself because I'm a selfish jerk a lot of the time.

I hate myself because I don't do what I know I need to do.

I hate myself because I'm depressed and anxious.

I hate myself because, as I grow older, I'm looking back with regret.

I hate myself because I can't tell people the things I want to tell them.

I hate myself because I give up too often.

I hate myself because I used to be someone better and I lost track of that and no matter what I do, I can't get it back.

You can't get everything back always. I found that out for myself. I hate myself for reasons that I have no control over as I wasn't there to do anything about. Most the reasons I hate myself aren't my fault though I feel as though they are my fault. Or that it should have been me it happened to instead.

You can get it back. Even if everything seems corrupted and sullied, it's still there. We can't see it because of all the dirt we accumulate over the years. If you believe in God, pray for cleansing, forgiveness and release. Ask Him to make the past a lighter burden on your shoulders. If you don't believe, just try hard to avoid doing what makes you feel guiltier and hate yourself even more (being selfish, for example). You can't speak up for yourself. Neither can a lot of people. It can be sad and infuriating, but it's a personality trait. Maybe we should stop trying to change our every flaw. Best wishes.
