I personally think they should be put into some sort of program for the rest of their life. The victim has to has to live with what happened to them for the rest of their life & it may very well stuff the rest of their life up. Some may not be able to work or function normal socially or in relationships. Why should the perpetrator get away with what they did. Even death is an easy way out for them! They get to go out of this world & not have to think about what they did while the victim has to live with it (that is if they don't commit suicide over it all).



My suggestion would be to make up a system that we run. We utilize these pedophiles & make them build for us & work for us (you know the jobs we don't necessarily want to do or have to do) so we no longer have to eventually if we so wish. By 'we' i mean the rest of society. Of course all this would happen under supervision & we wouldn't put them in a position of bring a teacher at your nieces school! The work they do should be back breaking labor. They shouldn't have recreation or any pleasures of any sort. No money & no contact with anyone apart from work because they have to communicate. No tv, no books, nothing! They should still be in a prison like facility at the end of the day too. If a person had everything taken away from them & they were slaved & had nothing to do they would have no choice but to stop & think about where they went wrong in their life & think about how they actually got themselves into that position in the first place. I don't care for remission but if pedophiles had to stop & think about what they did for the rest of their life & had no choice to do so & had no choice to enjoy the rest of their life the way they see fit............ well that would make me happy as a victim.

Its a slow torture & at the end of it society gets something out of it. They are already in our prisons living off tax payers money. Why not utilize them! Make them give something back!

The guilty should be punished harshly. I believe that we are on the right track. What concerns me is the innocent who are often accused just so an ex spouse can gain custody of the children, and many times just their assets...I grew up in an abusive environment, and still have as much hate today for my abuser as I had then, but i have seen some accused that weren't guilty and they had no way to prove their innocence and came close to being branded for the rest of their life with a title they didn't deserve....There are also innocent people setting in our prisons today, accused of crimes they didn't commit, but someone had to pay for those offenses, right ? Sometimes, the police don't care if they have the right person as long as someone goes to prison and they can close the case that they are investigating..That's sad, but it's also true....So Oprah needs to make sure she can live with other innocents being punished for a crime someone else committed.....

this act is inhuman ungodly against and a violation of human rights accepted and nearly condoned by the diferent so called protctive institutions and bodys which in my observaiton seem to protect everyone but the child someone pointed out that the church is so busy doing gods work it has very little time to deal with isues like children being abused under its roof all that i have to say is if christ where stood here what we know of him tearing apart a temple for trading and gambling etc,

I think its far to say that any church that has been defiled would no longer be classifideas holy and any person commiting such act held acountable before man and god not just a crime but a sin against god and wiewd as gods enemy and smited

I disagree, the vicitm carries the mental scars fae the rest of their life, so why shoula the perpetrator get tae live a comfortable life at taxpayer expense? I say put the Perp in a 16 foot boat and tow him out 3.5 nautical miles intae the ocean, no motor, oars, or sails. If the Gods are with the Perp he will wash up on shore somewhere and can live if nae he can simply die at sea and the world be a better place.

I understand Many peoples point of view on pedophiles, But I honestly believe its no different from many other disorders like Münchausen syndrome byproxy, Even though the pyschological affects can be treated When the person is the victim, The one commiting the crime Does not respond to therapy Because the Mind of that individual Dearly and almost gracefuly Ignores and hints to Not understanding the reason it is wrong, and why they should fight their Urges Its a Shame.
