I Wish That We Could Get Everyone To Spay Their Cats

I'm a caregiver to a feral cat colony and it's not an easy job but it is very rewarding. Everytime I leave there I want to cry because I just feel so sad that the cats have to live the way they do. I'm blessed to be able to care for my colony really well because I'm able to give them plenty of food and they have a warm place to sleep. I had the colony under control since 2007 because I had trapped and spayed them but sadly last summer someone dumped 2 female cats and they had babies within a week so just like that I had 2 litters to try helping since they were born in the wild they were hard to trap and I actually wasn't able to trap them all early enough to tame. I even ended up getting 1 from there and tamed him but he took months because he was older when I got him.So yesterday I was finally able to trap 1 of the females and 2 of the cats that were from that litter. There being treated right now at the vets and I'll be caring for them until there well enough to be released back into their colony because thats their home now. I just wish people would think about what they are doing when they don't spay their animals and the life those animals can end up having because even managing a colony those animals have it rough.
