Dictatorships Depend On Political Correctness To Keep The Masses In Line.
Dictators have relied on variants of political correctness and politically correct indoctrination since the invention of governments to intimidate the masses.
Here in the United States and in other democratic nations as well as in unfree nations, especially in elementary school, they use a version of it. They isolate individualistic children in early grades by isolating them and teaching them to fear disapproval by making them unpopular in the classroom. After giving these poor defenseless, individualistic children a taste of the whip, they then indoctrinate them to seek approval. And the school authorities along with the other brainwashed children reward the formerly individualistic children when he or she finally falls in line, in lockstep. And it stays inside the kid's head all the way to adulthood. They did it to me a little bit. However, as I grew up, I developed my intellect so I could teach myself to shake it off.
They used the same mental cruelty stuff on the kids in Soviet Russia, Communist China, Nazi Germany, etc. They used these brainwashing techniques in ancient times too. And theocratic regimes, such as contemporary radical Islamist regimes such as the Ayatollahs of Iran used them on the people. However, it has been in secular regimes that they this poison the most. In Communist Cuba, in the Cuba of the Castro regime, they use a derogatory term to put down individualistic attitudes and individualistic behaviors. They call the attitude antisocial. And the individualistic behavior they brand as improper conduct.
As far as contemporary political correctness is concerned, the roots of the disease began to sprout back in the time of the Weimar Republic of Germany. Adorno, Herbert Marcuse put forth some of their Marxist theories that have led to today's Political Correctness. It wasn't just in Germany that such conspiracies were being hatched. Lucaks led a Communist regime in Hungary in 1919 and some of his policies instituted parts of political correctness then until he was overthrown. In Italy, Antonio Gramscii opposed Mussolini's regime and he was put in jail in the early 1920s. Many of his political writings were the roots of the political correctness theology. Moreover, Marxists had influence over feminist groups as far back as the mid 1800s. One of their political spiritual godfathers was Friedrich Engels. Later on, in the early period of Communist Russia, Leon Trotsky had a major influence on feminist theory and thought.
As far back as the political side of the gay liberation movement, Harry Hay's Mattachine Society pioneered the fusion of Marxist political involvement within the platform of the gay liberation movement.
Yet more important than tampering with political groups, it has been the hugely successful invasion by implanting trigger language that has made political correctness such a toxic creed and has inhibited people from being candid with one another. No one has an inalienable right to not be offended. No institution has any right to punish someone or isolate them for being candid even if it means that the unpopular speaker may offend others.
In that spirit, I present my ob
