Avoiding The Question

I am watching an interview on TV and the politician is not answering the questions asked.

He is saying his line and whatever he wants to say but avoiding answering any of the tough questions that people watching would probably want answered usual lines.

"I can't comment on that, but"

"I think the real question is"

Combine that with the school boy arguing over the small details and ignoring the difficulties facing people facing high bills and difficulty getting by month to month.

Add that in with the perks they get and the money from special interests groups and you have a group of people that I do not trust.

No one in power will ever tell the truth. No one in power will ever even say anything that was not wrote by someone else. But I wonder in private if they ever mockingly stand behind a pulpit and say the truth?:)

If they did they would probably say, how stupid the people were?

And many people fall for it, blissfully unaware that their country's being ruined for the sake of the politicians' goals and interests.

Politicians rarely answer questions -- they skirt questions with half answers in order to keep their options open. That's what politicians do. And they are very good at it.

Not that they have to be good at it. They have a telipromter for speeches, and a pro in their ear for questions.
